Welcome to Collins Quarter Horses!
We have raised our children and started our
small horse business in the mountains of Eastern Oregon on ten acres
amidst abundant wildlife. We couldn't have found a better place.
Tom, growing up around cattle and horses; I joining him from the
time we were married, have taken us into raising American Quarter
Horses. We have focused years at this raising stallions and selling
all over the US and Internationally. We have met so many great people and
worked with so many great horses. We take pride in the line.
In 2006 we downsized to two acres on the edge the edge of town. We
are retiring from our horse business. We will be selling some great
horses and will continue to help people sell the line on our site.
Due to my continuing back problems, raising foals and standing stallions
can't be done. We feel the horses have been an exciting part of
our life we wouldn't have wanted to miss. - Tom and Jeannie

Hummingbirds, coming in for a quick snack.
Tom, growing up and part of our married life enjoyed working cattle and training horses with his Dad. I had the opportunity to also join in on this before we moved to Elgin, Oregon. We then focused on raising a family and started breeding American Quarter Horses.

Tom and the grand kids.
We started with a stunning, grulla filly, foaled in 1978, her name was Silver Moon Bars. With her, the beginning of our adventure took shape. She was by a black AQHA and out of an AQHA grulla. "Silver" was athletic, smooth and always willing. We decided to breed this mare to another grullo stallion heavy in the grullo coloring and so on down the line but improving the bloodlines as we went.

We have produced some exceptional grullo and dun factored horses. As you look through this site you will see some of the great horses and hear of some of the great people who have helped make the Collins Quarter Horse bloodlines a success. We have been so fortunate to have raised three outstanding stallions that are featured on this site. For more information, please view the stallion page.

We are extremely proud of these boys and they have been placed in excellent homes where they have continued their line. We continue to raise foals of our own, by these stallions.
We hope with this web site we can direct you to some awesome foals and horses for sale. We have many happy customers all over the United States and now in Europe. Please call or e-mail us anytime as we love to talk horses.
It has been and continues to be, a rewarding adventure.
